About
Victoria Maitland
Founder & Principal
I’ve spent more than 25 years leading People teams and helping leaders work through the decisions that come with running a business. What interests me most is the people themselves: how they think, work together and respond when things get difficult.
I’ve built and reshaped People functions and led through growth, acquisitions, restructuring and cultural change across different industries. The business context changes, but understanding people and building organizations that work are central to them all.
Leadership can be lonely. I’m someone you can be open with about difficult decisions, complicated relationships and things you haven’t worked out yet. I bring commercial judgment, deep People expertise and the ability to get things done - from reshaping teams to strengthening the People function or leading sensitive transitions.
At the end of the day, it’s about having the right people in the right roles, focusing on the right things and creating the conditions for them to do their best work.
Originally from London and based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I work with founders, owners and leadership teams around the world. You’ll work directly with me, with trusted specialists brought in when needed.
